Headingley
Headingley is one of the most desirable areas to live in for both students and young professionals. This is where the Becket’s Campus of Leeds Met is located and it is also within walking distance to the University of Leeds Campus. Headingley is a lovely little suburb with its own Arndale shopping centre, Cottage Road Cinema and train station. Headingley offers a relaxed night out and when you don’t want to go into town you can choose from a range of local pubs and bars. Among the most popular are Woodies, The Three Horseshoes, The Box, The Skyrack and The Original Oak which line the main Otley Road, and form an integral part of the ‘Otley Run’ pub crawl which often involves fancy dress! Headingley is also famous for its variety of restaurants like Salvo’s, Suko Thai & Bryans Fish & Chips. The Headingley stadium is the home of the world famous Yorkshire County Cricket Club and the Leeds Rhinos rugby league and Leeds Tykes rugby union clubs.
